I'm a working reporter in the Chattanooga area with an unhealthy interest in the beer, bar and restaurant community. I typically start out each day with a warm Guinness followed by a shot of Early Times, which I swish around in my mouth to clean last night's festivities off my teeth. I combine lunch and dinner together into one long blackout drunk, which usually lasts from 3 p.m. until I collapse into my car and drive erratically through the city. Eventually I sober up, usually suddenly and in a nice, warm prison cell, as the guards spray me with a fire hose to clean off the vomit and blood. That story is mostly made up. Mostly.
